Donal Creedon – 22nd – 29th August 2016

The Lightness of Being and The Search For Security
The purpose of the Buddha Dharma is to awaken intelligence and compassion; to discover within us the natural lightness of being and to live in the world centred in that light.
Although it is nameless we can call that light Avalokiteshvara, or Tara, or Vajrayogini or a thousand other names.
What obstructs the light is habit, fear, the weight of the past and particularly ignorance. The endless search for psychological security is part of that movement. We will explore these issues and others through listening, contemplation and meditation in the light of Mahamudra teachings.
Broneirion is set in 4 acres of grounds and has a warm and friendly atmosphere. We are large enough to wow and small enough to care whilst being versatile enough to accommodate most needs. Broneirion is a grade II listed building which was built overlooking the River Severn by David Davies, whose statue you pass as you cross over the bridge on the approach to Broneirion. We offer comfortable facilities in the peaceful surroundings and picturesque setting of a traditional country house. There is ample parking for 75 cars on site if required.
Date: 22nd - 29th August 2016
