Yoga is a form of movement meditation which allows us to access planes of being that are often covered over by 'modern life'. By slowing the breath and body down we can gain knowledge of deeper intelligence which is always waiting to inform our daily lives.
The basis of my work is a blend of asana and meditation techniques to build resistance to distraction and to rewire the habitual mind into experiencing the ever present moment.
I have been trained over two years by the School of Sacred Arts faculty and Tina Nance Yoga Trainings and Bex Tyrer Freedom Through Movement School. Over 600 hours RYT in Vinyasa, Hatha, and Yin. Additionally education in Traditional Chinese Medicine using the meridian map allows us to directly impact organs as well as external areas of the body.
Intermediate Yoga Courses with Heidi
Heidi teaches a Yoga class at the centre on Wednesday evenings from 7pm.
The class is aimed at Intermediate students.
Heidi's next course will be six weeks long with a two week break in the middle. This course will begin Wed 7th Nov.
