Intermediate Yoga: flowing, energising, uplifting Asana, Pranayama and Nidra. Yoga to inspire you for 2018.

Class time: 7 - 8:30pm (1 1/2 hour)

Day: Monday 

Dates: Jan 8, 15, 22, 29,   Feb 5, 12, 19, 26,   March 5, 12 (10 sessions)

Cost: £65 for 10 sessions (£7:50 weekly drop in)

Equipment: bring your own yoga mat, light shawl and small cushion

Minu started practicing yoga with Phillip Jones in 1994 in Cardiff. She felt the benefits of yoga very quickly and in 2005 decided to train to become a yoga teacher. She completed the teacher training at the Mandala Yoga Ashram, Carmarthenshire. www.mandalyoga.net She has been teaching yoga since 2006. She also started a meditation practice in 1994 and has continued to attend courses to deepen her practice.

Minu became interested in Qigong in 1990 after practicing Yang style Tai Chi for a short time in Bradford. She trained in 2010 to teach Qigong Shibashi 18 – www.taichi18.com with Sifu Cheung.

Minu has been part of KSD/SFW since 2004 and has been involved in supporting the work and has received many teachings over the years. She has attended a month long silent retreat with Rob Nairn in South Africa, November 2007. She is fortunate to have attended many courses from numerous teachers over the years and these include: Anthony Harris, Thubten, Donal Creedon, Clive and Ken Holmes.

Minu is very grateful to all her teachers who have so generously shared their learning, compassion and mindfulness.

Minu has worked in the NHS for many years. Since 2008 her role has involved organising and delivering self management courses for people with long term illness; known under the name (EPP) Educating Programmes for Patients. www.eppcymru.org
