Introduction to Buddhist Meditation workshop

Begin Buddhist meditation to help overcome the stresses and strains of modern life


This brand new workshop is suitable for beginners and will introduce you to Buddhist meditation techniques that can help you to overcome the stresses and strains of modern life. It will introduce some meditation and mindfulness techniques that you can use in your everyday life to help you to remain calm and promote a sense of well-being.


The course is not aimed at converting people to Buddhism and everyone is welcome to attend. You will learn about meditation posture, motivation, settling the mind and grounding yourself in the body, as well as learning some support techniques that you can use at home.


The workshop will be facilitated by Anthony Harris who is an experienced teacher of mindfulness and meditation. Anthony has been a practitioner of meditation for over 30 years. He is a Director of Samye Foundation Wales as well as being a qualified psychotherapist.
